Hull KR forward Joel Tomkins will miss their crucial match against Salford Red Devils after picking up a two match ban.
He was initially banned for one game for punching, but was then given an extra match for a “frivolous challenge” in their defeat against London Broncos last Friday.
The extra match came after he appealed the initial penalty notice he was given for punching.
The forward will also pay a £500 fine as well as another £500 fine for contesting the original charge.
In other news, Brandon Moore will miss the start of next season after being given a four match ban after pleading guilty to a charge of questioning the integrity of a match official.
