Oldham confirm Diskin as new Head Coach

Oldham have confirmed the appointment of Matt Diskin as Head Coach to replace Scott Naylor.

Naylor had led the Greater Manchester side back to the Championship. but had announced earlier in the season that he planned to leave at the end of the season.

Diskin joins having spent three seasons in a similar position at Batley Bulldogs, but was sacked after a board wanted to change direction.

Oldham confirmed their place in the Championship on Sunday after an 18-14 win over Newcastle Thunder at the Vestacre Stadium.

Diskin has signed a two year deal.
