Oldham have confirmed the signing of back James Worthington from Wigan Warriors for the 2020 season.
Worthington made his debut for the Warriors back in 2017 and has since had five spells out on loan before signing for the League One champions.
“I’ve played for a few clubs on loan, but I’m made up to become a fully-fledged Oldham player,” he told the Oldham website. “I’ve been at Wigan since I was 16, so it’s a new challenge for me and I’m eagerly looking forward to it.”
Oldham head coach Diskin added: “James comes from a Super League background at Wigan and he’s been well thought of wherever he has played on loan or dual-reg.
“We’ve done really well to get him against considerable competition and its felt he will do well for us on the fringes next season.”
