Cumbrian Rugby League Preview: Final two cup finals of the year

Friday (7pm)

Division One Cup

Aspatria Hornets vs. Kells (@Ellenborough Rangers)- Fourth against first for the Division One Cup. The last time the two teams met, Kells claimed a walkover victory to go through to the top four final. It could be a third trophy of the season for Kells, whilst it is a chance for silverware for the Hornets to end the season.

Saturday (2.30pm)

MITIE Cumberland Cup

Distington vs. Wath Brow Hornets (@Maryport)- First against third once more, this time for the cup. Wath Brow beat Distington only last week to claim the top four title in the Iggesund Cumberland Premier Division, and the pair will go again. Distington finished as the league leaders, but have lost in the finals of both the top four playoffs, and the EB Lamb Amateur Cup. This one should be a cracker.
