Widnes Vikings have granted a release for forward Brad Walker, as reports suggest he is to take up a contract with an unnamed Super League club.
The Cumbrian forward will leave having made 40 appearances for the Vikings since coming through the academy.
“It’s always hard moving on but at this stage of my career, I think to have the chance to go back to Super League is something I couldn’t turn down.
“Thank you to everyone at Widnes Vikings, as well as the fans for their support over the years.
“This place took a chance on me and gave me my opportunity in professional rugby league, and I will never forget what this club has done for me.”
