Warrington Wolves academy players Josh Thewlis and Ellis Longstaff have signed their first professional contracts at the club.
Thewlis already has first team experience, having made his debut back in June against Catalans Dragons.
However, Longstaff has not made an appearance just yet, but his performances have largely impressed in the academy.
Paul Anderson, Warrington’s academy head coach, told the club website: “As a club, we are extremely excited that two more players have graduated from our academy system, as we aim to keep producing our own players of a high standard with the belief that we can make Warrington Wolves a continued threat at the top of Super League.
“Both Ellis and Josh are hardworking and humble people, and fully deserving of these contracts. They are not only a reflection of what they do on the field but also of the continued hard work they do of it.”
