Featherstone Rovers have announced the signing of centre Greg Worthington from Toronto Wolfpack on a nine-match-loan.
Worthington was previously at the club between 2011 and 2014, where he scored 56 tries in 114 games for the Championship club.
The centre told the club website: “I’m looking forward to joining up with the Rovers once again.
“The drive here was a bit nostalgic, thinking about the four years I was here previous. Walking into the place once again made me excited to lace up my boots and walk out of that tunnel and play in front of these fans once again.
“Obviously I spent a big chunk of my career at the club previously and it’s always had place in my heart so to be able to come back here even if it is on loan is something that I am really looking forward to.”
Rovers Football Manager Steve Gill added: “We are pleased to be able to bring in a centre of the quality of Greg’s into the club at such a late stage.
“Initially the deal will be for nine Championship games, which will cover the Easter period.
“We haven’t discussed anything beyond that as of yet with Toronto, but it may be something both clubs explore at a later date.
“Tom Minns goes in for an operation tomorrow which should see him back around round 4 or 5 and with the recent signing of Conor Carey we look to have a pretty good back line in place for the start of the season.”
