Boxing Day

Castleford Tigers 14-20 Bradford Bulls- Two tries from Joe Brown and other efforts from Rowan Milnes and Sam Hallas won the game for the Championship side. A young Castleford side responded with tries from Danny Richardson, Joe Summers and Jacob Doyle, but just fell short.

Dewsbury Rams 14-14 Batley Bulldogs- A late penalty from Dale Morton shared the spoils for Batley after tries from Alistair Leek and Michael Ward had the Bulldogs 12-0 ahead. Dewsbury went in front thanks to tries from Andy Gabriel, Will Oakes and Adam Ryder, but they couldn’t hang on for victory.

Leeds Rhinos 30-4 Wakefield Trinity- Tries from Cameron Smith, Konrad Hurrell, Alex Sutcliffe, Stevie Ward, Harry Newman and Brad Dwyer earned a good win for Leeds. Lee Kershaw scored to get Wakefield back into the game, but his sin-binning proved crucial as the game slipped away from Trinity in the second half.
