Warrington Wolves winger Tom Lineham has been banned for eight matches after being found guilty of a squirrel grip.

The Warrington winger was placed on report at the time for the incident with Castleford’s Alex Foster.

He will now miss the rest of Warrington’s Challenge Cup campaign if they go all the way.

Elsewhere, Jordan Abdull has been given a two-match ban after successfully challenging the grading of his offence.

Abdull was referred over a squirrel grip on James Bentley, and was originally charged at Grade D.

He was able to overturn to Grade C and a two-match ban.

St Helens centre Kevin Naiqama has had his two-match ban for a High Tackle overturned.

He successfully challenged the grading from Grade C to Grade A and therefore avoided a ban.
