Wakefield and Huddersfield play game in hand

Huddersfield Giants and Wakefield Trinity one of their games in hand on the rest of the league.

As both sides are out of the Challenge Cup, they have taken the opportunity to play this week.

Both sides will be keen to get their win percentages up, neither have won a game since the restart.

The match will be played at The John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield.

Wakefield Trinity have made five changes to the side that were beaten narrowly by Hull FC last time out.

Alex Walker, Chris Green, George King and Titus Gwaze all drop out of the squad, while Innes Senior is ineligible to play against his parent club.

They do welcome back Kyle Wood, as well as James Batchelor, Adam Tangata and Jack Croft. Eddie Battye is also poised to make his debut.

As for Huddersfield, they make two changes to the side beaten by Leeds Rhinos.

Adam O’Brien is a notable absentee, after being stretchered off with a neck injury. Reiss Butterworth comes back into the squad for him.

The Giants also welcome back Suaia Matagi from suspension, he replaces Oliver Wilson.

The match kicks off at 3pm, and the referee will be Jack Smith.
