Huddersfield and Wakefield round off Day One

Huddersfield Giants face Wakefield Trinity at the Totally Wicked Stadium in the final game of the first day of Round 17.

The Giants are hoping to get back to winning ways after recent defeats against Hull FC and Salford Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Wakefield Trinity are looking for their first victory since the resumption of the competition.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm, and the referee will be Marcus Griffiths.

Huddersfield make three changes to the side beaten by Hull FC.

Dropping out of the squad are Jermaine McGillvary, Oliver Russell and Robson Stevens.

Replacing them are Ukuma Ta’ai, Oliver Wilson and Ronan Michael.

Meanwhile, Wakefield make six changes to the side beaten by St Helens last week.

They only named a 20-man squad last week.

Jacob Miller, Kyle Wood, Tinirau Arona, Jay Pitts, Jordy Crowther and Yusuf Aydin all return to the 21-man squad, while Harry Bowes could make his debut.

Making way this week are Joe Westerman, Craig Kopzcak, Josh Wood, Connor Bailey, Romain Navarette and Innes Senior, who is ineligible to face his parent club.
