Workington Town have completed the signing of Brad Holroyd from Leigh Centurions for the 2021 season.
Holroyd, who can play on the fullback or the wing, made his debut for the Centurions earlier this year.
He scored a try against Workington in the 1895 Cup in 2019.
Holroyd signed for Leigh from the St Helens academy, after helping them to the Academy Grand Final.
He also spent time in 2020 on loan at Rochdale Hornets.
Reacting to the news, he said: “I’ve heard nothing but good things about the club so I am really pleased to sign.
“I can’t wait to get back playing and hopefully push for promotion”
Head Coach Chris Thorman added: “Brad is a young outside back with bags of potential.
“I’m looking forward to working with him throughout pre-season and seeing him realise that potential.
“I’m sure he’ll be a player the Town faithful will warm to and they’ll appreciate his skills, versatility and massive enthusiasm.
