Sheffield Eagles have signed winger Jack Render from Featherstone Rovers for the 2021 season.
Render has spent the last two years at Featherstone, and made 22 appearances in 2019 as the Rovers went within 80 minutes of the Super League.
He was highly thought of at youth level, scoring 38 tries over two years for Castleford Tigers.
Reacting to the news, he said: “I am very happy to be joining the Eagles.
“Having not played in a while, it’s good to be part of a young, hungry team that also has some great experience.
“I felt it was in my best interests to move away from Featherstone and get more game time.
“After what has happened this year too, I wanted a fresh start.”
Head Coach Mark Aston added: “Jack is a good kid and has come out of a good Castleford system.
“He has got some potential after playing 20-odd games for Featherstone last year.
“It’s good that he can cover a number of positions too; full-back, wing and centre.
“He has an attitude to develop and be the best he can be.”
