Salford and Catalans return to action

Salford Red Devils host Catalans Dragons at the AJ Bell Stadium on Monday, with both sides returning to action.

The Red Devils were forced to forfeit their game against Warrington on Friday, as a result of only having 13 fit players.

Whereas the Dragons have not played for three weeks as a result of a COVID outbreak at Wigan Warriors, and another one of their own.

The match kicks off at 3pm, and the referee will be Jack Smith.

Team News

Salford have made three changes to the side that beat St Helens last time.

Mark Flanagan returns after recovering from concussion, while Jack Ormondroyd returns after testing positive for COVID-19 prior to the Challenge Cup Final.

Kris Welham is also back for the Red Devils.

They replace Oliver Roberts, Tom Gilmore and Olly-Ashall-Bott.

Catalans have made four changes to the side that was due to take on Warrington last week.

Sam and Joel Tomkins, Jason Baitieri and Alrix Da Costa are all missing for the French side.

The Dragons could hand a debut to Joe Chan. Meanwhile, Lucas Albert, Mickael Simon and Arthur Romano return.
