Warrington Wolves have announced the signing of highly-rated prop forward Rob Butler from London Broncos on a two-year contract.
The prop made 40 appearances for the Broncos and was an integral part of the side that competed in their 2019 Super League campaign.
Reacting to the news, Butler said:“I’m buzzing to finally be able to announce the move. It’s a great opportunity to join a club like Warrington. I’m really looking forward to it and excited to get going.
“I want to be real physical. I want to step up and be the man who comes in and does big hits and plays hard. I’m ready to make my mark.
“Warrington is a club at the top fighting for silverware year in year out and that’s what I want to be a part of and where I want to be.”
Warrington Wolves head coach Steve Price added:“I’m really pleased to welcome Rob to the club and he’s a fantastic addition to our pack.
“He’s a big bopper and is someone who plays the game tough. He’s an exciting young player and I feel like there’s a lot of good footy to come from Rob in the years ahead.”
