Warrington Wolves centre Greg Inglis has asked Wire fans to be patient with him as he adapts to the English game.
Inglis will return to the sport of rugby league, two years after playing his final game for South Sydney Rabbitohs in April 2019.
Whilst he said he is looking forward to the adventure, he thinks it may take him a few games to get back up to speed with the game.
He said: “I have been two years out of the game, I would just ask for supporters to be patient. It may take me a couple of games to get back up to speed.
“It is a long road. We have to take little steps throughout the season. If we break it up into blocks and we succeed in those blocks, then we will be up there.
“In the end, it was well documented that I could have stayed in Australia, but Warrington was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
“Being here for a full season is something I wanted to experience.”
