Wakefield side Eastmoor Dragons have added the experienced Daz Fisher as the club’s new Director of Rugby.
Fisher has worked in the coaching setups at Super League sides Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers, and has also worked with BARLA and Yorkshire Origin.
The former Spain Head Coach played for the Dragons, and even won 2012 Community Coach of the Year with them.
He also had a professional career as a player. He played for Batley Bulldogs, Dewsbury Rams and Barrow Raiders.
Reacting to the news, he said: “”I’m delighted to accept the role, it has been a tough year for everyone and especially at the club.
“It is going to be an impressive and important year for us, once we finally get going. I’m excited by the development pathways for both players and coaches, it is important we get the right foundations again and build upon them.
“I am really excited for the challenges ahead. Keep an eye out for our posts, there’s many more updates to come”.
