Warrington Wolves forward Leilani Latu has left the club after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
Latu joined ahead of the 2020 season, but played mainly reserves, whilst also playing for Widnes Vikings on dual-registration.
His senior debut was for Widnes, although he came off with a head injury during the Vikings’ 38-12 defeat to London Broncos.
He eventually made his debut, and he marked it with a try during the Wire’s 37-12 victory over Hull FC in September.
Latu went on to make three appearances following the restart of the Super League season.
A short statement from the club said: “Warrington Wolves can confirm that Leilani Latu has been released from the remainder of his contract by mutual agreement with immediate effect.
“The Club would like to thank the prop forward for his efforts and wish him well for the future.”
