New Leeds Rhinos forward Zane Tetevano says he believes the style of the Super League will be right up his alley.
Tetevano signed for the Rhinos from Penrith Panthers ahead of the new season, and is currently in quarantine under the government’s COVID rules.
He says he is looking forward to getting out and familiarising himself with the team and the game over here.
The 30-year-old said: “I have always been a big fan of Super League. The defence is down my alley, I have watched a few games, although time difference can be a factor.
“I am looking forward to getting out at Headingley and seeing the fans. I believe the game is fast and physical, and it is right down my alley.”
When asked about who he was looking forward to coming up against, he mentioned one name.
He added: “Peter Mata’utia who plays for Castleford, I am godfather of his son so I am looking forward to seeing him and his family again.
