Barrow Raiders hooker Shaun Lunt has announced his retirement from the game at the age of 33.

Lunt was due to sign for the Raiders ahead of the 2021 season, but will now no longer take up that contract.

The hooker has had a decorated career, which included winning the Super League title with Leeds Rhinos in 2012. He also played for Huddersfield Giants, Hull KR, Castleford Tigers, Workington Town and Batley Bulldogs.
