Huddersfield Giants Head Coach Ian Watson has confirmed halfback Aidan Sezer will miss the next few weeks after a training setback.
Sezer has sat out of the Giants’ first two matches of the season with niggles picked up in pre-season, but Watson has confirmed he suffered a setback after limping out on Wednesday.
He said: “He’s had a bit of a setback. He trained on Wednesday and got through the majority of the session, but felt a tweak at the back end, so we decided to get him scanned, and he will be a couple of weeks missing.
“Obviously you kiss someone lime Aidan. You look at Wigan against Leigh last week without Jackson Hastings and Bevan French, look at St Helens without Lachlan Coote, you miss them quality players.
“The team was good enough to win, like it was at Hull. Both games, we played against full strength sides. There is a lot of confidence in the side, and Aidan should be able to add that quality on top of that.”
