Wigan Warriors Head Coach Adrian Lam has said he hopes the influence of former Leeds Rhinos players Zak Hardaker and Brad Singleton can help his team on Thursday.
Hardaker spent five years at the Rhinos after signing from Featherstone Rovers in 2011, while Singleton came through at the Rhinos, making his debut in the same season Hardaker arrived.
They both shared a lot of success at the Rhinos before their respective departures. Hardaker went out on loan to Penrith Panthers before joining Castleford Tigers permanently in 2017, before moving on to Wigan.
Singleton left to join Toronto Wolfpack ahead of the 2020 season, before signing for Wigan after the Wolfpack withdrew from the remainder of the season.
Lam said of the pair: “I communicate with those two a fair bit, because they are ex-Leeds players.
“We want to try and get information out of them. They know what it’s like to play there, it’s a club they have both had success at.
“They are helping us reach that pinnacle as well. I’m sure both will be motivated for the game.”
