Huddersfield Giants fullback Olly Ashall-Bott has joined Wakefield Trinity on an initial two-week loan with an option to extend.
Ashall-Bott came through at the academy at Widnes Vikings before moving on to London Broncos, following the Vikings’ switch to part-time.
After the Championship season was voided, the fullback spent time on loan at Salford Red Devils, where he three appearances, scoring one try.
Before signing for Salford, he was due to sign for Ottawa Aces ahead of their first season in League One. However, the global pandemic meant their plans were put on hold for a year.
As a result, he followed former Salford Head Coach Ian Watson to Huddersfield Giants. He made his debut in their pre-season win over Leeds Rhinos.
