Hull KR have announced winger Ethan Ryan has signed a two-year contract extension.
The winger, who scored in his first appearance of 2021 against the Tigers made an immediate impact in the Robins’ side after making the move up to the top division from Bradford Bulls, scoring on debut in Wigan in 2020.
Reacting to the news, Head Coach Tony Smith said:“Ethan has shown that he is a young guy developing and doing very well. He’s applied himself as we hoped and wished and has shown us that he could be a really important part of our future.
“He has developed his body enormously by putting on weight, size, strength and speed. That is one of his big attributes, his speed, but he is keen to learn and he has learnt a whole lot since he has been here.”
Since making the move up from the Betfred Championship to Super League, Smith is confident that Ryan can continue his development, and both feel as though the winger’s best is yet to come.”
