Wigan overturn first half deficit to beat Leigh

Wigan Warriors recovered from 10-0 after 20 minutes to beat Leigh Centurions 30-16 at Leigh Sports Village.

Leigh went into a 10-0 lead thanks to tries from former Warrior Anthony Gelling and Nathan Mason.

Wigan were able to turn it around before the break, thanks to tries from Harry Smith, Dom Manfredi and Bevan French. However, they would still go in level after Jamie Ellis scored for the hosts.

The second half belonged to Wigan, as a double from Jake Bibby and another for Liam Farrell as Wigan continue their perfect start to the season. As for Leigh, they are still looking for their first win.
