Weather forces several community games off

The current wet weather has meant two out of the three community matches scheduled to take place tonight have been called off.

The North West Men’s League Division Two clash between Wigan Spring View and Westhoughton Lions, as well as the Yorkshire Men’s League Division Four clash between Normanton Knights and Lock Lane have been called off tonight.

However, there was one game that survived the weather. Eastmoor Dragons claimed a 20-14 win over Shaw Cross Sharks in Yorkshire Men’s League Division Five North, which sees the Dragons up to third in the table.

There is plenty of action tomorrow, as the NCL gets back underway after an absence of over a year.
