Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price has confirmed centre Greg Inglis will be out for up to eight weeks with a hamstring tear.
Inglis came off in the second half during their 26-20 defeat against Huddersfield Giants. Price confirmed he has a Grade Three hamstring tear.
The three-time NRL winner was playing in just his third game since his high-profile move to the Wolves, having been retired for two previously after leaving South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Price said: “It’s unfortunate. He has a Grade Three hamstring, so he will be out for a while. He was starting to find some good footy under him.
“He’ll work hard in his rehab, and hopefully he won’t be too long out. He’ll be around the eight week mark. It’s unfortunate, but these things happen in rugby league.”
