St Helens Head Coach Kristian Woolf has said Tommy Makinson and Regan Grace will be fit for Saturday’s Challenge Cup semi-final against Hull FC.
Makinson has missed the last few matches with a foot injury, while Grace missed Friday’s clash against the Black and Whites under concussion protocols.
He also gave updates on Mark Percival and Agnatius Paasi, who were both forced off from Friday’s match with tight hamstrings.
He said: “Both Tommy Makinson and Regan Grace will be 100-per-cent available. We will look to bring them back in somewhere.
“At this stage both Agnatius (Paasi) and Mark Percival are tracking well, and at this stage, they look like they are going to pass.
“We still have a bit to do with them, but all signs are positive.”
Woolf also said the return of Makinson and Grace will see another role for Jack Welsby within the 17-man-squad that will take to the field.
He added: “He will be in the 17, there is no doubt about that. He is too good of a player not have in the 17 every week.
“We will figure something out, it will take a little bit of planning, but he will certainly be in the 17, that’s for sure.”
