St Helens captain James Roby has given his thoughts on Saturday’s Challenge Cup Semi-Final against Hull FC.
The Saints are looking to reach their second Challenge Cup Semi-Final against the former back-to-back champions of the competition.
The pair played each other on Friday, with Saints win winning 34-16 at the Totally Wicked Stadium. However, Saturday’s match will played on a different day, in a different competition and at a different stadium in the form of Leigh Sports Village.
Roby was keen to stress there is still plenty to improve on for Saints, despite the convincing scoreline.
He said: “Last week was a great result for us, we played pretty well. But its a different competition, it’s very hard to take a gauge, or take too much out of last week.
“They have a week to prepare, a week to review footage and right a couple of wrongs. Likewise, there are thing we can improve on.
“We are looking forward to the game. It’s a massive occasion and the type of game we want to be involved in.”
