Salford Red Devils have announced the signing of St Helens youngster Ben Davies on an initial two-week loan deal.
The 21-year-old, who can play in the centres or the second row, came through Widnes Vikings’ academy system and made his first team debut for them in 2019.
He signed for Saints in 2020 to play for the reserve side, but their season was ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Davies went on to make his first team debut against Salford later that year.
He will link up with Richard Marshall again at Salford, and his loan deal will be monitored on a week-by-week basis.
