Barrow Raiders forward Dan Toal and Sheffield Eagles forward Scott Wheeldon have both been referred to the disciplinary tribunal after last weekend’s games.
Toal has been given a Grade D charge of Punching during Barrow’s 60-10 win over West Wales Raiders. If found guilty, he faces a ban of between three and five games.
Meanwhile, Wheeldon has been charged with Dangerous Contact, also at Grade D, during Sheffield’s defeat at Halifax Panthers on Sunday. He also faces a ban of between three and five matches if found guilty.
In a busy weekend for the panel, several players were also charged and handed penalty notices.
York City Knights halfback Riley Dean, Coventry Bears forward Elliott Townsend and West Wales Raiders pair Iuen and Ewan Badman have all been handed one match penalty notices this week.
Finally, Sheffield forward Blake Broadbent, Rochdale Hornets forward Fuifui Moimoi and Barrow Raiders back Declan Hulme were charged but not banned by the panel.
