York City Knights have confirmed the loan signings of Tyla Hepi from Castleford Tigers, Jake Sweeting from Featherstone Rovers and Jamie Ellis from Leigh Centurions.
They have all signed two-week loan deals, and will go straight into the squad for Sunday’s match against Batley Bulldogs.
The deal for Sweeting has seen Perry Whiteley move the way other way.
Head Coach James Ford said: “I’m really pleased to be in a position to bring a player of Jamie’s experience and ability to the club. I’m really looking forward to working with him and seeing the impact he will have on our team.
“Jake is a half-back or hooker who is coming in to cover Kriss Brining’s injury.
“I’ve seen him play for Castleford against Featherstone and Featherstone against Hunslet and he caught my eye in both games and I’m looking forward to working with Jake.
“I’m absolutely delighted to bring Tyla to the club. He is a player I’ve admired for a long time.
“He’s a player with a lot of aggression and tenacity and I’m looking forward to seeing the impact he will have on our team and performances.”
