North Wales Crusaders claimed the spoils in the first Welsh derby of the season, after a 60-10 win over West Wales Raiders at Stebonheath Park.

The Crusaders held a healthy half-time lead. Two tries from Rob Massam, and others from Tyme Dow-Nikau and Matt Reid had the visitors 20-0 up.

They carried on where they left off in the second half as well. Reid and Dow-Nikau claimed their second tries and Connor Aspey also added a double before David Evans got West Wales on the board.

But North Wales continued to come forward and claimed three more tries thanks to Brad Billsborough, Cam Brown and Massam, who completed his hat-trick.

Evans then claimed a second try for West Wales, before Pat Ah Van rounded off the scoring for the Crusaders.
