Swinton Lions forward Sam Brooks has been handed a four-match ban after a tribunal heard his case.

The Scotland international was charged with Dangerous Contact following the Lions’ 34-4 defeat against Halifax Panthers.

He pleaded guilty to the charge, but challenged the grading. He was charged at Grade D.

However, the panel decided the grading was correct, and banned him for four matches. He has also been fined £250.
