Barrow Raiders have announced winger Shane Toal has signed a new three-year deal to stay with the club.

Toal signed for the Raiders back in 2015 from community side Ulverston. Since representing Raiders, Toal has also become a Scottish International, playing in the 2017 World Cup in Australia with them.

Reacting to the news, he said: “I am very happy to have signed a new three-year extension which will take me to 10 years with Barrow. I have been loving my rugby this year after our season was cancelled last year.

“Everyone at the club is working really hard and it shows with the crowds that are coming to watch and the events that they’re hosting at the ground. I think the club is on the up and I’m excited to be involved for the next few years.”
